When an unexpected birth defect or trauma enters a child's life, this can cause fear for both the child and the family. I am passionate about caring for families as well as the child, to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the care. Some of my most precious interactions are when I meet with a family before birth to discuss the care of a condition such as cleft lip/cleft palate or congenital hand anomaly. It is such a privilege to share in the joy of their new baby, and then to watch these children grow into happy and confident young adults!

Dr. Workman specializes in several conditions that may require plastic surgery,
including but not limited to:

- Congenital hand and foot differences

- Reconstruction from dog bites and other trauma
- Velopharyngeal / resonance disorders
Dr. Workman is focused on delivering the highest level of compassionate care while making every visit as comfortable as possible, recognizing that both children and parents may be apprehensive about a visit to the doctor’s office.
